After three seasons of ill-advised choices and poor decisions, it often feels like the girls of Girls are stuck in an endless loop of setbacks, with little or no progress being made in their lives
For this reason, it was refreshing to see Shoshanna own up to her mistakes, and apologize to Ray for her part in the demise of their relationship. "I'm the reason that our relationship ended. I wasn't ready and I was unkind and very rude, and generally acted in a way that I don't want to be remembered after I die," she tells him in episode 4. "I was scared."
