Beck's mellow 'Morning Phase' rises to Best Rock Album

    LOS ANGELES — Beck couldn't get any Grammy love for his seminal 2002 record Sea Change, but Morning Phase — the sequel of sorts to the his most melancholy musical moment — more than made up for it.


    Beck Hansen, who used the same crew of musicians for Morning Phase, won Best Rock Album at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, his fourth. (Sea Change was nominated in 2003 for Best Alternative Music Album.)
