'Destover' malware could use Sony's security certificate to attack computers

    In an apparent side effect of the massive hack at Sony, a type of malware called "Destover" is now out there using a stolen digital certificate from Sony to possibly attack computer systems, according Kaspersky Labs


    What that means is that, because the certificate is trusted by default on some computers, the malicious software could have an easier time sneaking by defense mechanisms, like antivirus software or default-deny policies.
