Cheese truck explosion shuts down UK motorway
LONDON — The M1 motorway in Northamptonshire was closed on Monday evening after a cheese lorry burst into flames. Eyewitnesses on the scene reported explosions before fire crews arrived at around 7:30 p.m.
One driver caught up in traffic, Max Earey, used the delay to photograph the blaze and posted the images to Twitter.

"I could see something on fire in the distance but cars were still getting by — then a couple of lorries stopped to hold the traffic back as they could tell it might get a whole lot worse, which it did," he told reporters. Read more...
