Spotify now has 15 million paying subscribers, 60 million users
Take that, Taylor Swift.
Spotify announced Monday that it is starting the year with 60 million users — 15 million of which are paying for the service. The figures come after Spotify revealed two months ago that it had 50 million users and 12.5 million subscribers
Spotify launched a promotion in early December that offers three months of its Premium service for $0.99 instead of the standard $9.99 a month. The $0.99 offer is available only in the United States and represents a small portion of the new paid user growth, according to Spotify Read more...
