'Late Show with Stephen Colbert' gets September premiere date
PASADENA, Calif. — Everyone eagerly awaiting Stephen Colbert's return to TV will have to wait until September to see the late night fave back on the small screen
CBS announced on Monday that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will premiere on Sept. 8, almost four months after David Letterman's final late show, which is set for May 20
Over the summer, the network is planning to air encores of its primetime shows in late night, according to CBS Entertainment Chairman Nina Tassler. As for tributes to Letterman, she said the network is still "in conversations with Letterman about special programming leading up to his finale." Read more...
