    LAS VEGAS — The magic of NFC has been with us for some time now, but now that it's finally going a bit more mainstream in the U.S., device makers are getting more aggressive about harnessing the technology


    Following this trend in the realm of cameras is Canon, which just unveiled its new line of affordable, NFC-enabled PowerShot point and shoots that wirelessly connect to the company's long teased, and finally available, Connect Station photo transfer hub



    Once you connect the Connect Station to your high-definition television via HDMI you simply tap the new PowerShot cameras on the top of the hub and the devices establish a link.
