X Factor contestant's performance may help Bruno Mars to Christmas Number One
LONDON — It's looking increasingly likely that Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars could upset Simon Cowell's plans for another festive chart-topper this Christmas — but it could be partly the music mogul's own fault.
The duo's new single, Uptown Funk, has had its release date pulled forward following a performance by a contestant on Cowell's programme The X Factor and now bookmakers have stopped taking bets on its chances.
