James Taylor gives musical apology from the U.S. to France
James Taylor took part in some musical diplomacy in Paris on Friday, serenading a crowd of politicians and victims of the recent attacks in the city.
The unexpected, and slightly strange, moment came during a visit by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. Taylor took the stage during a ceremony at the Hôtel de Ville, the city hall of Paris, to remind Parisians "You've Got a Friend" in the U.S. — despite President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Kerry himself all being no-shows at Sunday's unity march in the city.
